Antique Japanese 4 Drawer Kyodai Vanity Tansu Persimmon Wood 14" Haribako Chadansu Some foxingThis is an antique Taisho era (c 1920's) kyodai (vanity tansu chest) with a unique arrangement of four drawers. Made of the finest persimmon wood drawer faces and keyaki casing. Where once there were arms to hold a mirror the top has been filled in (see photos).
