Old Map of the Panama Canal, 1930 by Tripp - Panama City, Gatun, Bocas Del Toro, Pearl Islands, Boquete, Isla del Rey - Framed Unframed Gift Size:30x45in (76x114cm) This is a very fineUndoubtedly one of the most beautiful maps of the Panama Canal and, amazingly, the first map ever created B. Ashburton Tripp. This map was never published rather, Tripp, a landscape architect by trade, simply wanted to draw one of his favourite places in 1930. This map is extremely decorative, with detailed views of the landscapes and people of Panama. The canal is at the centre of the map, with the Caribbean to the north and Pacific to the south.
