Model CR Cup Shank:Mainz Our standard rim profile -A classic Chicago bowl with a clear direct sound. The shallow depth brings core, brightness and ping while the bowl shape helps temper the sound. The result is velvety smooth slurs with immense power and excellent control. In developing the model we had a couple main objectives; improve the performance of the line on Rauch and Lewis horns and fill in the "Smooth playing direct sounding" quadrant of the G Series. The first step was to get ahold of one;
