Created as an advertising poster for the Eastern Railway, Robida sets the massive Tour de lHorloge against a soft, cloudy sky while the upper town tumbles down the slope in sunwashed stone. A flock of birds turns around the towers corbelled clock, and at lower right he even adds a tiny vignette labeled Ligier
