Candialle: Chianti Classico Riserva 2012 Nicht auf Lager Pomerol’s and Fronsac’s clay soilsThe Riserva flagship of the winery is a classic Tuscan wine. The Riserva is made from pure Sangiovese grapes sourced from the best parcels. The old bush vines grow at an altitude of 360 meters on blue gray limestone schist soil (Galestro), which is the starting point for the special harvest. After handpicking, the wine ferments spontaneously in used Burgundy Pice barrels of the third filling, then the young wine matures there for 18 months.
