Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Nova Scotia and mobilized in Halifax under the authority of G. O. 36, March 15, 1915. The Battalion sailed May 20, 1915 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel G. A. LeCain with a strength of 42 officers and 1,081 other ranks.
