Peru, Republic. An Order Of Aeronautical Merit, Grand Cross Case Archive bottom marked "FR938"(Orden al Mrito Aeronutico). Instituted in 1946. Hardshelled design on both the lid and base, steel blue textured exterior, the lid bearing the Peruvian coat of arms in gold coloured ink, silvered sunburst style button placed on the front edge of the lid, inside lid in white satin, padded and exhibiting the impressions of the Grand Cross and Breast Star, the base housing a raised platform in ruby red felt, the platform with a slotted and recessed
