This makes three layers that are stitched together for strength and the nylon center eliminates stretch. NOW THE HALF HOLES DO NOT COMPROMISE THE STRENGTH OF THE LEATHER AND THE LEATHER WILL RETAIN ITS SHAPE WITHOUT STRETCHING. 1 X 48 half hole stirrup leather with leather on both sides and a nylon inner lining, stainless steel buckles, beveled edges, and numbered holes.
