Germany, Third Reich. A 1936 Olympic Games Commemorative Medal, With Case Hold for the petrol tank broke(Deutsche Olympia Erinnerungsmedaille 1936 mit Etui). Instituted 31 July 1936. (1936 1937 issue). Constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing a central raised Olympic column, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by a date of 1936, topped by Olympic rings, the reverse bearing an inscription of FR VERDIENSTVOLLE MITARBEIT
