Constructed of lightweight cotton with a printed multi coloured design, consisting of a 45 mm thick black band with narrow white bands at the top and bottom bearing the text DEUTSCHER VOLKSSTURM WEHRMACHT (German Peoples Storm Armed Forces) flanked by German national eagles clutching wreathed mobile swastikas, red borders above and below the black band, unmarked, measuring 214 mm (w) x 64 mm (h) when folded, patches of fatigue
