Fetherston Estate Pinot Noir 2022 the-shed-distillery a bright palate of ripe
Description
a bright palate of ripe berry fruit and a dry profile
The vines sit at around 250 metres above sea level and have an average age of more than 20 years
it would be a great shame to go past this Saint-Joseph that proves concentrated and full-bodied on the palate
Subtle floral notes add elegance
Fetherston Estate Pinot Noir 2022 the-shed-distillery a bright palate of ripeIt's medium bodied, and quite firm in tannin, and don't mind me, but it has a bit of a Nebbiolo character about it, which, of course, I really like. Acidity is clean and sits well within the wine, and the finish is long with some dusty chalky tannin. Structure and energy, and also, no shortage of personality.
